Day 1 NUKU-I-MANA

Arrive at the Captain Cook Cruises Fiji check-in counter in Port Denarau this morning to check in for your cruise. Board Caledonian Sky and set sail over a light lunch through the beautiful Mamanuca islands. Start your expedition cruise with a plunge into the crystal blue waters of Nuku-i-mana sand cay for an afternoon swim and snorkel. Tonight experience the first of many South Pacific sunsets as we join the Captain and crew for Welcome Dinner.

Day 2 MONURIKI ISLAND & MONU BAY

Sail to idyllic Monoriki where Tom Hanks’ Castaway was filmed. Immerse yourself in this cinematic setting with a guided kayak tour and discover the underwater wonders of Monu Island as you snorkel the surrounding coral reef before visiting a local village and experiencing their choral service. The beautiful harmonies will simply delight you.

Day 3 SACRED ISLAND & WAYA ISLAND

The Sacred Island is a place beautiful beyond belief. Legends tell of the great war canoe `Rogoboka’ which landed here with the first Fijians. On arrival the ship’s crew pay tribute to the forefathers and perform the Sevusevu (gift giving) ceremony. Spend a magical morning swimming in the aquamarine lagoons, snorkeling in spectacular coral gardens, or coral viewing from the zodiacs or the kayaks with a marine biologist.

In the afternoon, visit Waya Island. Enclosed by towering volcanic peaks and palm fringed beaches, Waya Island is a tropical paradise. Visit the local school and village, peruse the shell market or climb to the peak of Waya for amazing views.

Day 4 LAUTOKA & TIVUA PRIVATE ISLAND

Enjoy breakfast onboard as we return to Lautoka for a 9:00am disembarkation of those guests only joining us for our 3-night itinerary.

Between departures enjoy a choice of complimentary tours including the Garden of the Sleeping Giant, a tall ship adventure or mud pools (Tuesdays only) before heading back aboard the MS Caledonian Sky for your next island adventure.

Set sail over a light lunch as we cruise to Tivua Island. Spend the afternoon exploring the coral gardens, coral planting and clam rearing cages or a scenic walk through the island before enjoying a South Pacific sunset back onboard.

Day 5 YAQETA ISLAND

Start the day with a morning swim & snorkel in an idyllic bay at Brothers Island. Savour a gourmet buffet lunch as we journey to Naviti Island with aquamarine waters and white sandy beaches. The teachers and children of the local school invite you to visit. The children look forward to sharing a song, dance and story or two with you. Afterwards, you can snorkel, swim, kayak, stand up paddle board or just explore the island.

Day 6 SAWA-I-LAU, BLUE LAGOON & YASAWA ISLAND

Discover the legendary grandeur of Sawa-i-lau and the famous limestone caves. Swimming in the cave lagoon is a wondrous experience.

In the evening, we visit the village of Matacawalevu: Immerse yourself in Fijian life with a traditional welcome ceremony (sevusevu), Fijian feast (lovo) and entertainment by the villagers of Matacawalevu.

Day 7 NAVITI & DRAWAQA

Cruise the soaring volcanic peaks of the Yasawas, discover the myriad of fish in the coral reef and laze in the warm sands of Naviti Island. During lunch cruise to the spectacular channels to Drawaqa Island Beach and Marine Protected Area for amazing snorkelling, you may even see a Manta-ray (seasonal).

Day 7 LAUTOKA FOR TRANSFER TO AIRPORT AND DENARAU

Enjoy breakfast onboard as we return to Lautoka for a 9:00am disembarkation. Our crew bid you farewell in song including their traditional Fijian ‘Isa Lei’ as they say ‘sototale’ or ‘see you again’. Transfers will be available to the Airport, Port Denarau hotels and the Port Denarau Marina.
